The Detroit Children's Choir, founded in 2008, enriches the lives of Metro Detroit youth through choral music education. They train diverse students (grades 3-8) in music literacy and vocal performance, culminating in an annual concert. The choir began in one school in 2006 and now operates in multiple locations, uniting communities through music.
Mission
Detroit Children's Choir fosters musical excellence and builds an inclusive community of confident, focused, and creative youth within Southeastern Michigan, using the power of choral music education as a cultural platform.
