About
Durham Children's Choir, founded in 2005, provides music education & performance opportunities for young singers in the Durham area. They have three choirs: Vivace (K-1), Cantare (grades 2-4), and Bel Canto (grades 5-12). DCC was founded by Scott Hill and is now directed by Dena Byers. The choir has performed with Bobby McFerrin and opened for Lauren Daigle.
Mission
The Durham Children’s Choir provides an opportunity for outstanding young singers in the Durham, North Carolina community to learn and share high-quality choral music through public performances.
