The Edward J. Madden Memorial Open Hearts Camp, established in 1961, is the world's first and longest-running summer camp for children who have had open heart surgery. Founded by Edward and Leone Madden, the camp provides a supportive environment where children can heal, play, and connect with others who share similar experiences. Located in Great Barrington, MA, campers enjoy traditional camp activities while feeling accepted and understood.
