Mentor Programme
{Mentorship programme is designed to help teens find the career path that best suits them.}
The School of Hope
Provides education to over 400 students from Prepa (5 years old) through 9th grade, following the Guatemalan curriculum with a focus on teacher development.
Nutrition Program
Provides students with two nutritious meals each day, often the only food they receive. Also offers workshops for parents on the importance of nutrition at home.
Social Services
Offers physical health support, sex education, psychological support, and special education to students, addressing a wide range of complex needs.
Entrepreneurship Program
Creates business opportunities for creative and determined students, providing start-up grants, business planning advice, and community mentors.

EFTC USA, founded in 2003, supports the Education For The Children Foundation and its School of Hope in Guatemala. What started as emergency funding for a school on the brink of closure has grown into a comprehensive program serving over 630 students with education, nutrition, healthcare, and social support, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Mission
Education for the Children Foundation empowers young people from the Jocotenango area with the skills and confidence to be successful, providing access to quality education, nutritious food, healthcare and social support.
