About
El Ingenio Inc, founded in 2012 and based in Miami, FL, is a nonprofit dedicated to producing, disseminating, and promoting theater rooted in Latin culture. The organization aims to preserve Hispanic/Latino culture, deepen Latino heritage through the performing arts, transcend language and cultural barriers, and foster the integration of all cultures in South Florida. They present around 55 events each season, including performances, shows for children and seniors, expositions, dramatic readings, concerts, art programs, conferences, and workshops.
