The Emory Volunteer Fire Department, established in 2011, serves the residents and businesses of Rains County, TX, including Emory and surrounding areas. Their mission is to acquire and maintain firefighting, rescue, and emergency equipment to preserve life and protect property from fire and other emergencies. They also focus on teaching, educating, and training their volunteers. The department meets every Monday at Station #1.
