About
The Ensemble Music Society of Indianapolis, founded in 1944, brings chamber music concerts to Indianapolis. An all-volunteer organization, it keeps ticket prices reasonable. Their education program, formalized in the 1990s, brings chamber music into schools, reaching students throughout Central Indiana, including community youth orchestras and retirement homes. They offer inspirational interaction through performances, discussions, and Q&A sessions. They also have the BETTY ON Award program which awards free season tickets to MYO and Butler University music students.
Mission
