Esopus Creek Conservancy, founded in 2004, works to conserve natural landscapes in the Lower Esopus Creek watershed and the Saugerties area. They protect the rural environment, conserve habitats, promote biodiversity, and share resources through education and youth programs, including collaborations with the Boys & Girls Club. They manage the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve.
