Essex County Arts Council, founded in 1983, promotes and sustains the cultural life of Essex County, NY. Serving artists and organizations within the Adirondack State Park, ECAC connects creatives with residents and visitors. ECAC administers the Cultural Assistance Program Grant and the Sunburst Award microgrant program for individual artists.

Essex County Arts Council promotes and advocates a vibrant culture for the arts through an effective county-wide system to proactively connect organizations, artists and students with full time and seasonal residents and visitors.
