The Fern Dell Historic Association, est. 2007 in Newark, IL, preserves local history by maintaining the Old School House, Misner Blacksmith’s Shop, and Fern Dell Museum. Its mission is to collect, display, and provide information about the history of Newark and its surrounding areas since 1835.

Fern Dell Historical Society is committed to the preservation of the history of Newark. They maintain the Old School House, the Misner Blacksmith’s Shop, and the Fern Dell Museum.
