Final Furlong, founded in 2009 by Stephanie Brennan, provides a safe haven for retiring thoroughbred racehorses. The organization rehabilitates and repurposes these horses, finding them suitable homes for show, pleasure, or retirement. Final Furlong ensures each horse receives proper veterinary care and a period of adjustment before matching them with compatible owners, giving these equine athletes a loving second career.
Mission
Final Furlong places graduates of Niall Brennan Stables into new homes or safe retirement, also offering services to clients of Niall Brennan stables needing retirement for their horses. The organization aims to provide horses who have given so much an opportunity to excel at another career.
