Focus on the Arts, established in 2008, is a biennial fine arts festival at Highland Park High School. It exposes students and community members to visual, performing, and communication arts through workshops, masterclasses, and performances. Focus aims to increase appreciation and understanding of the arts and art professionals, fostering creativity and lifelong journeys in the arts.
Mission
Focus on the Arts sparks innovation and creates new ways of thinking and viewing the world for Highland Park High School students and the broader community. This multi-day festival prioritizes hands-on creative experiences, allowing students to work beside and learn from acclaimed professional artists across multiple disciplines.
