FOOD SHARE FOOD BANK, established in 2005 in Newton, TX, provides groceries to Newton County residents meeting USDA qualifications. Partnering with the Southeast Texas Food Bank and local businesses, they distribute nutritious food, including fresh produce and meat, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to combat hunger in their community.
Mission
Newton Food Share is dedicated to ensuring that no one in the community goes without food. They operate a food pantry that serves an average of 300 families, representing around 800 individuals each month, by providing groceries to those in need.
