About
LSU TigerRacing, active since the early 90s and officially an LSU club since 2012, participates in Formula SAE, the world's largest collegiate engineering competition. Students design and build a scaled-down formula one car annually. In 2022, they achieved their best result ever with an IC car, placing first in the Skidpad event and finishing seventh overall. Transitioning to EVs, the team aligns with the global shift towards electric energy, providing hands-on experience with technologies shaping the future.
Mission
FORMULA SAE AT LSU brings students together in Baton Rouge to design and build Formula-style vehicles, fostering practical engineering skills and teamwork.
