About
Founded in 2004 as the American Legion Symphonic Band, Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds became its new name in 2018. This 501(c)(3) organization provides live concert band music throughout South Florida. It consists of 40 professional and amateur musicians who volunteer their time and talents. They perform at events like "Light Up the Holidays," Memorial Day ceremonies, and 9/11 ceremonies, also supporting Honor Flight.
Mission
The Fort Lauderdale Symphonic Winds, a 501(c)(3) organization, provides music throughout South Florida. With 50 professional and amateur musicians volunteering their time and talents, they support Honor Flight Concerts and perform in various locations.
