The Fort Sutter Racing Pigeon Club, one of California's oldest, is located in Sacramento. Members race pigeons over an eastern course from Nevada, across the Sierra Nevada, to the Sacramento Valley. They host Old Bird and Young Bird race series and welcome junior flyers and newcomers. The club also holds annual auctions featuring outstanding race birds.
