JOURNEY GEAR
Provides suitcases for children's belongings, ensuring they don't have to use trash bags when moving. This helps maintain their dignity.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PROGRAM
Celebrates foster children's birthdays, making them feel special on their important day, since many don't have anyone to celebrate with.
KIDS ART JOURNEY
Promotes the arts and helps children discover and nurture their artistic talents. Includes an art contest where children can draw whatever they want.
PROM EXPO
Provides prom necessities, including dresses, accessories, and shoes, for foster children to have a special prom night.
ANCHORS
Helps children adjust to foster care, promotes more foster placements, and supports families adopting children.
PRESTON'S PURPOSE
Provides funds for former foster youth, honoring the memory of foster children whose lives were cut short.
HOPE CHEST
Provides basic household needs for children who have graduated from high school, such as microwaves, dishes, and bedding.

Foster*A*Life, founded in Lubbock, TX, in 2004 by Dr. Shaun H. Keel, provides assistance, services, and opportunities to children involved with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Their programs include Journey Gear, Happy Birthday Program, Kids Art Journey, Prom Expo, Anchors, Preston’s Purpose, and Hope Chest, all aimed at enhancing the lives and self-esteem of these forgotten children by fulfilling dreams and providing essential resources.
Mission
Foster*A*Life enhances the lives of children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by providing otherwise unavailable assistance, services, and opportunities. They promote a more positive self-image and increase self-esteem by promoting the overall well-being of these children.
