The Foundation for Dane County Parks, founded in 2018, supports and enhances Dane County Parks through community engagement. It aims to improve quality of life by sustaining parks that promote physical and mental health, conserve land, and preserve sensitive areas. They provide grants and support volunteer programs.
Mission
The Foundation for Dane County Parks' mission is to improve the quality of life throughout Dane County by sustaining a park system which will improve residents’ physical and mental health, combat flooding, conserve our dwindling land, preserve environmentally sensitive areas, and enhance the county’s economic base.
