Fountain City Brass Band, est. 2008 in Kansas City, enriches the community through brass band music. It actively promotes cultural revitalization and arts awareness. The Fountain City Youth Brass Academy, founded in 2008, inspires young musicians to achieve musical excellence and a lifelong love of music.
Mission
The Fountain City Brass Band enriches culture by performing eclectic concerts, expanding the brass band art form in a way that is both entertaining and educational. They bridge popular and classical art music through modern compositions, arrangements of classical works, jazz, and Broadway hits.
