Fralinger String Band, formed in Philadelphia in 1914, is a celebrated participant in the annual Mummers Parade. With a rich history including multiple first-place wins, Fralinger mentors talented musicians to develop their performance and production skills, carrying on the tradition of the Mummers. They operate as a non-profit 501(c)(3) since 2008.
Mission
Since 1914, the Fralinger String Band has delighted audiences of all ages with Philadelphia Mummery. They continue the tradition of excellence, hoping to continue this tradition well into the 21st century.
