The Franklin County Bar Association Advocates, Inc. (founded 1980) provides legal representation to indigent individuals facing criminal charges in Franklin County courts. They contract with the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) to deliver client-centered legal services, ensuring strong legal representation grounded in fairness, dignity, and equal treatment under the law.
Mission
The Franklin County Bar Association maintains the honor of the profession, promotes a high standard of professional and judicial conduct, the administration of justice, continuing legal education, cooperation, and fellowship among its members.
