The Fraternal Order of Police, founded in 1915, is the largest professional police organization in the U.S., with over 2,200 local lodges and 377,000 members. It began with two Pittsburgh patrol officers seeking to improve working conditions and give police a voice. The FOP is dedicated to bettering the law enforcement profession and serving communities, states, and the country. They offer programs such as scholarships and support Special Olympics.

The Missouri State FOP strives to improve the lives of law enforcement members by advocating for necessary changes in the legislature and providing members with benefits and resources to promote success and well-being.
