About
Friends of Ferdinand Inc., est. 2006, is Indiana's only Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance-accredited nonprofit. They rehab, retrain, and rehome ex-racehorses from the Midwest, providing them with second careers. Programs include the Broodmare Bunch, Pasture Pals, and #PoniesOfTheCaribbean. Nearly 100% of horses adopted since 2015 are still with their adopters, proving their dedication to finding the right fit.

Friends of Ferdinand, Inc. is the only Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance-accredited organization in Indiana. They are committed to rehabbing, retraining, and rehoming ex-racehorses from across the Midwest into long-term homes and successful second careers.
