Friends of Green Lake, founded in 2009, is a grassroots organization devoted to maintaining a healthy lake for wildlife and recreation. Formed in response to toxic algae blooms, the Seattle-based nonprofit works to improve water quality and restore the shoreline. They are dedicated to ensuring a healthy Green Lake for today and tomorrow.
