FOLIO's mission is to strengthen libraries in Oklahoma through Friends of Libraries. They invest in FOLs and libraries by connecting and promoting them, recognizing exemplary FOLs and FOL Week activities, offering Seed Grants, scholarships, developing Oklahoma’s Literary Sites, providing Outreach Ambassadors, and advocating for libraries. FOLIO was formed in 1978.
