FRIENDS OF OHEKA INC supports the preservation and restoration of OHEKA CASTLE, a historic Gold Coast mansion. Built in 1919 by Otto Hermann Kahn, the castle has served as a summer home, a military academy, and is now a member of Historic Hotels. The organization contributes to maintaining OHEKA's gardens, architecture, and historical legacy.
Mission
Friends of OHEKA, Inc. is dedicated to the protection, preservation, and public awareness of OHEKA Castle. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, they work to ensure this historic landmark is appreciated and maintained for future generations.
