Friends of Sauratown Mountains, est. 2010, preserves and protects the Sauratown Mountains, including Pilot Mountain & Hanging Rock State Parks. As a sanctioned 501(c)(3), they offer volunteer opportunities and projects dedicated to the preservation, enhancement, maintenance, and education related to the parks and the Sauratown Mountain Range.
Mission
Friends of Sauratown Mountains provides financial and volunteer support to Hanging Rock & Pilot Mountain State Parks, helping build & maintain trails, volunteer in visitor centers, and advocate for our two great State Parks.
