The Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, formed in 1995, is a non-profit dedicated to supporting the Cambridge Public Library's endeavors. They fund special projects, community events, acquisitions, and new technologies, enabling the library to provide services beyond its budget. FCPL supports programs such as guest author events, children's reading programs, and provides museum passes, enhancing community engagement and library resources.
