About
Founded in 1999, the Friends of the Daniel Parrish Witter Agricultural Museum enhances and promotes the museum, located on the New York State Fairgrounds. Working with the NYS Agricultural Society, they preserve and present NY's agricultural history through displays and demonstrations, enriching the educational experience for visitors. The Friends manage displays, develop new exhibits, and operate the Museum in partnership with the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets.
Mission
The Friends of the Daniel Parrish Witter Agricultural Museum enhance, advise, promote, develop, and assist in the operation of the museum. Their goal is to share the heritage of New York’s agricultural development with museum visitors.
