The Friends of the Marin County Free Library, founded in 1971, are volunteers supporting Marin's libraries. They sponsor programs such as book clubs, lectures, storytimes, computer literacy, and conversation clubs. They provide books to children and support art lending programs and hands-on learning activities. Income comes from used book sales and donations.
Mission
We are a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to making our library system and its programs the best they can be. Anyone who enjoys the pleasure of a good book or the myriad of benefits and services of the library should be a friend.
