Friends of the Plum Island Lighthouse, founded in 2014, is dedicated to preserving and maintaining the historic Newburyport Harbor Light (Plum Island Light). Through charitable contributions, they provide educational tours, share the lighthouse's historical significance, and display historical records for the public's benefit. Volunteers offer tours on weekends from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
