Friends of the Swans Island Lighthouse (FOSIL) is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Town of Swan's Island in restoring, preserving, and managing the Swan's Island Lighthouse. Their mission is to maintain the lighthouse and its surroundings as a cultural, educational, and recreational resource, preserving its heritage and fostering public understanding of its historical significance.
Mission
The Friends of the Swan’s Island Lighthouse assists the Town of Swan’s Island in restoring the Burnt Coat Harbor Light Station. They are dedicated to preserving this historical treasure for generations to come.
