The Friends of the Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library, founded in 2004, is a nonprofit of volunteers passionate about literacy and community engagement. They rescue used books, reselling them at affordable prices. Funds support library programs like ESL, children's programs, author events, and landscaping. They also support the Friends Scholarship Fund and 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
Mission
Tysons Library Friends' mission is to promote literacy and the transmission of knowledge and culture in our community. The organization rescues gently used books, gives them a second life, and turns them into affordable treasures for the community to enjoy.
