The National FFA Organization, formerly known as Future Farmers of America, was founded in 1928. Its mission is to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences. FFA members are future farmers, chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, and teachers. The organization is committed to individual student achievement in premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
