The Garden Club of Orange & Dutchess Counties, founded in 1913 and incorporated in 1965, is a founding member of the Garden Club of America. The Club strives to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and flower arranging, promote conservation education, and protect native plants and birds. They initiate and support various projects like the Jane Colden Native Plant garden and the Beatrix Farrand Garden restoration.
