Genesee Valley Quilt Club, founded in 1936, promotes quilt making through education and skill development. Originally sponsored by the Rochester Museum of Arts and Sciences, its mission is to unite quilters, improve skills, and appreciate design. The club supports the community through its Love and Comfort Project, donating quilts to those in need, and has a long history of quilt displays.

Genesee Valley Quilt Club promotes quilting through exhibitions and charitable activities within the community, encouraging the art of quilt making while improving skills and knowledge. They also promote appreciation of design and workmanship, preserve heritage, and use their skills to serve the community.
