The Genetic Disease Foundation (GDF), established in 1997 by patients and families, supports research, education, and prevention of genetic diseases. As a founding member of the Jewish Genetic Disease Consortium (JGDC), GDF advocates for carrier screening. Over 25 years, GDF raised millions, enhancing carrier testing and awareness. Programs include Know Your Genes and One Test, Many Answers campaigns, and scholarships for genetic counseling.
