Girls on the Run of Birmingham, founded in 2011, empowers girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Through fun, experience-based programs, girls in 3rd-5th grade develop essential life skills while training for a 5k. Camp GOTR offers a summer program combining lessons and summertime fun.

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
