Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake, founded in 2005, inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident through an experience-based curriculum that integrates running. As part of Girls on the Run International, they've served over 25,000 girls in the Greater Chesapeake area. Their programs enhance social, emotional, and physical skills, teaching critical life skills and promoting physical activity. 98% of GOTR girls would recommend the program to others.
