Inspires 3rd-5th grade girls to build confidence through physical activity and life skills development, culminating in a 5K and Community Impact Project.
Heart & Sole (6th-8th Grades)
A middle school program for 6th-8th grade girls, designed to foster emotional and physical health, empathy, and social connection, also culminating in a 5K.

Girls on the Run North State, founded in 2010, empowers girls in grades 3-8 to develop self-confidence and essential life skills through running and interactive lessons. Trained volunteer coaches facilitate programs that blend physical activity with life skill development. They teach participants to manage emotions, foster friendships, and express empathy, culminating in a 5k race and community impact project.
Mission
Girls on the Run inspires participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others through fun, evidence-based programs.
