Gloversville Theatre Corporation, established in 1996, is dedicated to saving and revitalizing the historic Glove Theatre. Originally opened in 1914, the Glove became a flagship for Schine Enterprises. Saved from demolition in 1995, it now hosts movies, musicals, and community events. Programs include summer youth arts, a film series, and free family matinees, enriching the community through arts and culture.
Mission
The Glove engages, entertains, and educates the community to foster talent and economic development opportunities. They operate the region’s premier historic entertainment venue, specializing in live productions and nurturing community-wide collaborations.
