Golden History Museums, originally founded in 1938 as the Jefferson County Historical Museum, preserves and shares Golden's history. Today, the museum features exhibits, a hands-on gallery, and the Golden History Park, recreating an 1800s mountain ranch. It's owned by the City of Golden.
