Good Shepherd Parish in New Orleans was formed in 2008 by merging three historic parishes: St. Stephen (est. 1849), St. Henry (est. 1855), and Our Lady of Good Counsel (est. 1887). Each parish has a rich history of serving the community, particularly German immigrants. Today, Good Shepherd Parish continues their legacy of faith and service.
