Green Earth, founded in 1974, is a land conservation organization based in Carbondale, IL. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, its mission is to preserve natural areas for the benefit of the community, providing public access and enjoyment. Green Earth owns and maintains six natural areas, totaling 220 acres, and nine miles of trails. They work to protect local ecosystems and promote environmental stewardship.
