The Green Mountain Club Worcester Section maintains the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail from Stratton-Arlington Rd. to the Winhall River crossing. They organize free outings, typically day trips in central Massachusetts, and support trail work through donations. The section is honored to steward the trail that inspired the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail.
Mission
The Green Mountain Club Worcester Section promotes hiking, canoeing, and education, fostering conservation of natural resources in Massachusetts and Vermont, benefiting over 1300 people.
