The Guilford Keeping Society, founded in 1947 (originally as the Old House Group), preserves and shares the history and heritage of Guilford, CT. They focus on the preservation and restoration of historic homes and sites, education, and maintaining a library and museum. They operate the Thomas Griswold House Museum, the Medad Stone Tavern Museum, and the Clapboard Hill School House.
