About
H.E.A.R.T. Coalition, founded in 2005, is dedicated to reducing alcohol and tobacco abuse among youth and adults in Atlanta's Fulton County. Funded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy, they aim to delay the age of onset, reduce frequency of use, increase perception of risk, and increase parental disapproval of these substances. They achieve this by addressing risk factors and promoting protective factors within the community.
Mission
H.E.A.R.T. Coalition advances health equity by eliminating disparities related to tobacco and substance abuse. They improve health outcomes through education, environmental strategies, and policy change for all youths and adults in Fulton County, Georgia.
