The Heart of Texas Historical Museum, founded in 1974 and located in Brady, TX, resides in the former McCulloch County Jail (1910-1974). Once called the 'best small museum in Texas', it showcases local heritage. It also features the restored Curtis Field Control Tower, dedicated to WWII trainees and McCulloch County veterans.
