Tutoring & Mentoring
Provides tutoring and mentoring with an emphasis on building relationships and teaching healthy life skills to help kids get through high school and into college or a skilled trade.

Earn-a-Bike Program
Provides bicycles to those in under-resourced neighborhoods, offering a chance to earn a bike through shop time or community service.

Food Rescue & Distribution
Rescues unsold food from local restaurants and distributes it to individuals and families in need, reducing food waste and providing nourishment.

Food Bank
Distributes food to inner-city families, especially those with young people who are left to fend for themselves when hungry, working with neighborhood partners.

Music Lessons
Offers free private music lessons, instruments, supplies, worship band classes, and summer day camp to under-resourced students and adults in inner city Fort Wayne.

Laundry Room
Provides a free on-site laundry room with washers, dryers, detergent, and childcare to help families living in poverty have clean clothes and bedding.

Heart of the City Mission Foundation, founded in 2010, serves Fort Wayne's inner-city families. Focusing on life skills, mentoring, and education for disadvantaged youth, HOTC aims to break the cycle of generational poverty.
