The Henry County Historical Society, established in 1963, is dedicated to preserving and showcasing Henry County's history. Located in Bishop Hill, IL, the society maintains a museum with diverse collections and exhibits, including a renovated agricultural history room. The museum is open from May to October, offering visitors a glimpse into the county's past.
Mission
Organized in 1963, the Henry County Historical Society brings together those interested in the history of Henry County and collects and preserves articles of historical value to pass on to future generations. The museum consists of five display rooms with artifacts from early medical/dental offices, blacksmith shops, military memorabilia, and more.
